Saffron is undoubtedly the brand's star product. At Chris and Schengele, the "red gold" is used to make a syrup with an intense flavour and hints of honey. True experts in natural flavours and passionate about nature, Jean-Claude Schmitt and Chris Mathi have also been awarded Mosl Quality certification for their Thymus, a thyme syrup perfect for herbal teas and toddies, Africa Jelly (made from basil flowers), aromatic salt with 4 basil plants, and seed bombs designed to save the bees in the Bitche region.
