In the Zinsel valley, in the heart of the station verte village of Baerenthal, Ramstein plage leisure grounds have numerous amenities: a 2 ha lake for swimming, a picnic area, beach volleyball, a tennis court, a bowling alley as well as a play area for small children.

Next to the 3-star campsite, there are many way-marked footapths for hikers.
